Nootropics as ‘Study Drugs’ for Exams
We have been receiving quite a lot of questions from our readers about the use of nootropics as Adderall alternatives when studying for an exam.
Most of these questions are on whether they will allow them to keep studying in a trance-like manner as Adderall does, and how much better it is.

Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but if you are looking for a quick solution the night before the exam, as you are trying to cram every last bit of information because you haven’t studied when you should have, nootropics are probably not going to do much for you.
You might experience a slight buzz and a higher sense of focus and clarity, but if you are trying to get as much done in as little time, Adderall would probably be the better option for you.
This is the common misconception a lot of our readers have – that nootropics is a quick fix.
They think they can turn around the fact that they have been procrastinating all semester by taking a nootropic supplement.
This really isn’t the case, and if you thought it was that simple, you will be severely disappointed.
But equally, in many ways, nootropics are a lot better than Adderall – if you knew how to use them wisely.
Nootropics, when taken continually over a long period of time will yield some great results.
Over time, nootropics not only increase your ability to focus, but you are actually empowered with unique memory capabilities.
In essence, your mind works more efficiently, allowing you to learn things quicker, and also remember things more easily.
While Adderall certainly is the quick fix, giving you unmatchable amounts of focus over a few hours, nootropics will undoubtedly work better in the long run of things.
However, you are definitely going to need to put in more of an effort. If you are truly interested in acing those exams, you are going to need to go through hours of studying.
You aren’t going to get a good grade unless you strive for a good grade.
However, nootropics will make those study hours tolerable and shorter – and when you are in the exam room, you’ll understand why you made the better choice.
Oh, and on the plus side, you aren’t going to go all “zombie-mode” as you do with Adderall.
